Originally from Germany, this is a well known women’s wear brand through out Europe (19 countries) produces and designs with passion a range of reasonably-priced outfits which allow women to express their femininity at all times.

China recently became the 20th country where women can enjoy its fashion clothes.


The Internship would be separated in two different periods/missions:
Retail operations organization (first month full time based in the shop)

Be part of the sales team in the flagship store to get a good understanding of the daily operations.
Guarantee the implementation of the Retail store Fundamentals to improve customer service and sales turnover (training program, followed by mystery shopping visits)
Guide sales team for realization of visual merchandising.
Analyze turnover and products rotation to give some recommendations for up coming fall winter 09 collections for China’s store(s).
Realize benchmarking among direct competitors to define brand USP (unique selling points)
Ensure set up of loyalty program in the shop.
Feedback to head office Marketing department to improve brand strategy and customer approach
N.B.: As part of sales team work on Saturdays would be requested (compensate by extra day off in the week days)

Marketing activities (promotion, customer loyalty program activities)

Benchmarking of competitors marketing activities.
Follow up competitors benchmarking to define brand USP
Follow up on sales results to adjust collection in store(s)
Suggest ideas for MKG activities for second semester 2009.
Organize Orsay customer data base (Orsay club) and prepare information to be send out to members
